Would you trust a people who in the past has nearly wiped your own species and has broken nearly every single peace treaty or ceasefire for no apparent reason?

And would you also trust a people who knowingly accepts groups whom you would consider to being twisted and evil and having no respect for life?

Also would you trust a people who have turned their own planet into a wasteland from your perspective?
